Fallout is a series of post-apocalyptic role-playing video games created by Interplay Entertainment. The series is set during the 22nd and 23rd centuries, and its atompunk retrofuturistic setting and artwork are influenced by the post-war culture of 1950s America, with its combination of hope for the promises of technology and the lurking fear of nuclear annihilation.

  1. Bethesda is strongly hinting at Texas…they know how popular New Vegas was. It was the only state mentioned in Fallout 3/NV/4. It has the opportunity to be the largest map they've ever made with all the best aspects of Fallout 3 and NV in one.

  2. you guys should do a video on what would happen if the NCR and the government eventually created by the minutemen met

  3. I don't necessarily agree with having a lack of a vague background for the player to work with. I think New Vegas and fallout 1 both do it well as the motivation for partaking in the action is up to you, while still leading the player somewhat into interacting with new factions and places, interacting and changing the world as you explore the main quest. It also gives the player agency to their actions. To me, the best time of intro for this game would be being apart of a caravan, whatever reason that may be, and be attacked by the 80s tribe and left for dead. You choose to seek them out for whatever reason, in the process being introduced to the world and making a name for yourself in the process, eventuallt getting caught up in a larger conflict in trying to fulfill your quest, whether it is a vendetta, intrigue or to just get paid for your job.

  4. don't take this criticism personally, but having the only female companion being the only possible romance (can't female players romance at least one male main companion? like it isn't even inclusion or rapresentation, it just heterosexuality for women) (or possibly have some bi or gay options), plus her character being in big part based on being rejected by a powerful man for her appearance is a bit controversial in 2020.
If a male companion personality was based on being rejected by a woman and this thing shaping his whole identity he'd be called a simp.

  5. Honestly fallout 3 , 4 and 76 are the same game with different lore I want stuff like Wyoming or Miami new Vegas was great because it was full of great new vibes

  6. I'd have some splinter faction of the Legion included in the game. Mostly because Bethesda diden't allow the Legion to be as developed as Obsidian wanted. Maybe give them motorized chariots like they were supposed to have in VanBuren.

  7. Thanks! I hate it.

It sounds bad, I'm glad you're not working in game design :). It's like you took a bunch of random features suggest in twitch chat and tried to shove it all in to the same game without any narrative cohesion or direction. It's like you think complexity is the same thing as depth and is the core of what makes an rpg good, you don't need a million intersecting story lines you just have to make it immersive.

Also, most of those random story bits and features sound bad.

  8. Totally disagree with sandbox scenario. Fallout is an interactive Novell, which is “red” by reeders the same way like “Treasure island”. I don’t like invent and carve my own plan and path in unknown world. I have to do it in my real life. When I play a game, I want to have everything prepared for me in right and proper way! I want to get entertainment not a job. And a lot of players want the same. That is why there are so many channels and vids about different aspects of the game. Including this channel.

  9. I know it's a pretty "Bethesda-cucky" to say this, but I've never been a huge fan of the tribal aspect of Fallout games. I know that's kind of how to series started, but idk, I guess its not really my aesthetic.

  10. I really like the idea of the 80s having a sort of Mad Max aesthetic, obsessed with the highways as a sort of cultural identity like how the raiders in Fury Road are obsessed with cars

  11. Just wanna say I adore this video. I fucking need something like this lol.

Bethesda's Fallouts just kinda bore me now a days

  12. you should let the character have the ability to marry and have children, the children would be a random mix of you and the spouse

  13. Me, a Wyoming-born man and knowing some good ol' Wyoming secrets: 'Now imagine if they went to the South-East'.

  14. I'm all for setting fallout in several different places but settings fallout in a fictional place like Wyoming may not be the best idea.

  15. new mutant animal idea: Nightmare
Descendant of FEV mutated horses evolved to become omnivores. Their hair is midnight black, and their lower jaws split in two to reveal large, sharp teeth. Their hooves are clawed for self defense. While many Nightmares have been domesticated by the Great Khans and smaller tribes, whole herds of wild Nightmares still race across the plains.

I got this from an old Role Play Forum Thread called Fallout: Wild Horses

  16. Dude how do I send this to Bethesda or obsidian cuz they need to hear this just hearing about it gets me excited and I must own this game and replay it thousands of times😃😃😃😃
